Pastor Quincy Devon Griffin, Sr.

Bishop-Elect Quincy Devon Griffin, Sr. was born in Charleston, SC to his beloved parents Bernard and Shirley Griffin. Having a love for music, he received a music scholarship to attend Florida A &M University (FAMU). At FAMU, he was a member of the world-renowned Marching 100, and received his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Music Education. In obedience to God, he remained in Tallahassee after graduation and became the James S. Rickards High School band director. After 10 years of leading the band to great accomplishments and receiving national recognition, Griffin left his career and became pastor of the Family Worship and Praise Center in 2014 following the death of his predecessor, mentor, and spiritual father, Pastor Cyrus Fells Flanagan, FWPC founder.

Prior to pastoralship, he was licensed as a minister, ordained as an elder and then elevated as the executive pastor under Pastor Flanagan’s leadership. Pastor Quincy has a passion and commission to engage, equip, and empower men and women of all ages to operate in the full capacity of their God-given gifts and talents. He is a firm believer that in the presence of God, souls can be healed, delivered and set free from anything in life troubling them.

In 2012, he married his college sweetheart, Michelle Patrice, and together they have three handsome sons, Quincy Devon, Jr., Jair Alexander and Jordan Malachi, as well as two beautiful daughters, Micah Ann Sheree and Jael Makenzie.
